An anonymous person sends a huge flower bouquet to Sajjan’s house. The family assumes that Komal had sent the bouquet to Samar for his birthday. Tanmay is disturbed by Arushi’s decision to work. Menaka calls up her mother and tells her that someone from her past is tormenting her. Krishna and Pratigya argue about the flower bouquet that Samar had received for his birthday. Tanmay is unhappy to learn that Arushi got through her interview in the first attempt. Samar is delighted to forgo school on his birthday. A petrified Menaka denies sending Samar with Pratigya. On the other hand, an impatient Sajjan awaits Samar to wake up. Samar burst into tears as he recollects Menaka’s threat. Pratigya consoles Samar and insists Sajjan to find out Samar’s problem. Komal demands that Tanmay pay for half of the monthly household expenditure. Professor is taken aback when Arushi states that Tanmay and she should set up a house alone. Krishna asks Tunna if Meera had come by the restaurant in his absence. Menaka tries to stop Pratigya from going to the school but Sajjan agrees with Pratigya. He asks Menaka to stay back home and take care of Samar while Pratigya goes to the school to investigate.
